Features

DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter Connects a 4K Monitor to Your Computer or Media Center This active converter helps you transmit digital audio and 4K video from the DisplayPort 1.2 output on your desktop computer, Chromebook, MacBook, Microsoft Surface or other compatible device to a 4K HDMI-enabled television, monitor or projector. It’s ideal for working in high-definition photography, videography or cinematography, as well as streaming video for digital signage in crystal-clear 4K. You can continue using your existing HDMI display without the expense of a new DisplayPort monitor. Avoid Signal Disruptions with Extra-Secure Connectors Having a cable come loose accidentally can cause A/V signal loss at the most inconvenient times. The specially designed latching DisplayPort and high-grip HDMI connectors firmly grip the ports on your equipment to help prevent accidental disconnection and signal disruption. With greater port retention than typical connectors, these more secure connectors resist vibrations that can loosen over time. This is especially helpful for ensuring components stay attached in difficult-to-access installations. Transmits Crystal-Clear 4K HDMI Video with HDR and 4:4:4 Color The P582-020-4K6AE supports Ultra HD video resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz (3840 x 2160) with rich, full 7.1-channel surround sound. High Dynamic Range (HDR) provides a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your 4K display. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows you to stream iTunes and Netflix content with no complications. This cable supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor. Adapter Located Inside the DisplayPort Connector for Easy Installation With the DisplayPort-to-HDMI repeater/booster built directly into the DisplayPort connector, no bulky mid-cable adapter hinders installation through furniture or in hard-to-reach areas. Ready to Use Right from the Package, So You Can Plug and Play Immediately The plug-and-play cable requires no software, drivers or external power. It is compatible with both Single- and Dual-Mode (DP++) DP output and is recommended for use with graphics cards that do not output DP++ signals, such as the AMD Eyefinity. It is backward compatible with 1080p displays and pre-1.2 DisplayPort sources, allowing you to use it with older equipment.
