USB-C Docking Station Turns Your Laptop into a Multi-Display Workstation
This professional workspace dock provides an all-in-one solution for expanding the functionality of your laptop with 4K HDMI and 8K DisplayPort video ports, Gigabit Ethernet, USB-A and USB-C hub ports, SD and Micro SD card slots and 100W PD charging. With the U442-DOCK7D-2, you can transmit 4K video to three displays at the same time when it’s connected to a PC or laptop that supports DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode and DSC (Windows) or SST (macOS).

Extends 4K Video to 3 Displays Simultaneously
One DisplayPort supports single-display 8K at 30 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz. Two HDMI ports each support single-display 4K at 60 Hz. All three video ports also support HDR, 36-bit Deep Color and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. For advanced digital signage, video presentations or workplace productivity, you can display 4K video on up to three 4K displays at the same time. Note: The U442-DOCK7D-2’s video output capabilities vary depending on the capabilities of the host’s operating system, graphical capabilities, video cabling and display(s). Host device must support DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode. M1/M2 Macbooks are limited to mirroring video content across multiple displays in SST Mode.

USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 Ports Connect Keyboards, Thumb Drives and Other Peripherals
The U442-DOCK7D-2 features four USB ports for adding hard drives, mice, keyboards, printers, webcams and other USB peripherals to your laptop or PC. A USB-C port and two USB-A ports support USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps, ideal for transferring data between hard drives. The remaining USB-A port supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds up to 5 Gbps. All four ports are backward compatible with older USB devices.

PD Charging Port Charges the Connected Notebook or Laptop
The USB-C Power Delivery (PD) port supports power output up to 85W, which is more than sufficient for charging and powering the connected host device, such as a MacBook Pro, Windows laptop or Chromebook. Just connect the host’s wall charger to both the USB-C PD port and an AC outlet.

Accesses a Wired Gigabit Ethernet Network
The RJ45 port offers access to a Gigabit Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Connect using a compatible Cat6 Ethernet cable (sold separately), and enjoy true 1 Gb Ethernet speeds for fast data transfers.

Connects Speakers, Microphone and Other Audio Equipment
The 3.5 mm mini stereo jack is convenient for connecting speakers, headphones or a microphone to your workstation. You can listen to music or record the latest episode of your podcast.

Allows External Memory Access
The memory card slots support microSD and SD/MMC cards for transferring data to and from your connected computer, laptop or tablet. You can access both slots at the same time.

Anti-Theft Lock Protects the USB-C Docking Station When You Aren’t Around
Connect a user-supplied computer/laptop security cable lock (not included) to this Kensington security slot (K-Slot) to protect your host device against theft.

The plug-and-play USB-C dock is specifically designed for use with Windows laptops and other devices equipped with a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4/5 port. It requires no extra software to be downloaded or installed. Its sleek, portable design enhances desktop space by allowing the connected host laptop to be placed directly on top of the dock.

• Windows or macOS host* with a USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 port capable of 40 Gbps data transmission and DisplayPort Alt Mode 1.4
• User-supplied DisplayPort and/or HDMI cable(s) matching the video specifications of the host, U442-DOCK7D-2 and display(s)
• User-supplied Cat5e/6 cabling for connecting the RJ45 port on the docking station to a Gigabit Ethernet network
• User-supplied USB-C cabling and compatible USB-C power adapter for charging the host and docking station via the USB-C PD charging port

* macOS hosts may only mirror video content across connected displays in SST Mode. The maximum video resolution supported is dependent on the host device’s video output capabilities combined with the specifications supported by the video cabling and display(s).
