Because residential power outlets have three wires—hot line (H), neutral (N) and ground (G)—the TLP88DBTEL protects all three, covering the two protection modes: full normal mode (H-N) and common mode (N-G/H-G).

NEMA 5-15R Outlets Accept a Wide Range of Electronic Devices
Plug your computer, printer, router, desk lamp or other home/office electronics into eight NEMA 5-15R outlets to protect them against dangerous surges, spikes and line noise. Two outlets are placed at the end of the TLP88DBTEL to allow connection of bulky transformers without blocking adjacent outlets. Built-in RJ11 jacks (1 in/2 out) prevent surges from damaging your modem/fax/phone equipment.
