Connects to switches, routers, barcode scanners, GPS units, point-of-sale devices, lab equipment, network storage devices, modems, graphics tablets and other devices with a DB9 serial port. Supports data transfer speeds up to 230 Kbps—twice as fast as a built-in serial port.

Easy to Set Up and Use Right Out of the Box

No external power supply is needed and only one connection is required. Simply connect the included three-foot (0.9-meter) USB cable between the unit’s USB-B port and your computer’s USB-A port. The unit is compatible with any USB cable up to 16 feet (4.9 meters). A green LED indicates data activity at a glance. The unit weighs only 2 ounces for convenient transport in a backpack or laptop bag.

Compatible with Major Operating Systems

Works with Microsoft Windows (up to Windows 11) and macOS X (up to Ventura 13.3.1), and includes Windows line monitor and data trace software. The unit supports both 32-bit and 64-bit systems and has continuously updated drivers available for download on the unit’s Technical Support page.

TAA-Compliant for GSA Schedule Purchases

The USA-19HS is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), which makes it eligible for GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule and other federal procurement contracts.

Note: Computer should have Administrator access to avoid potential installation issues when first installing drivers. When attempting to use most recent driver with an existing USA-19HS unit, it is critical that the old drivers be uninstalled from the computer before downloading and installing the newer driver. Even though the old driver no longer works, the Device Manager will still attempt to use it.
